About The Position

The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for following a driver to merchandise retail accounts. This role is nonexempt and reports to the Delivery Manager. The primary objective involves filling, rotating, and merchandising products in cold vaults, shelves, and displays, moving product from pallets to coolers using a hand truck, and organizing backroom coolers. The role also requires maintaining professional behavior with all accounts serviced and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by management, including attendance, appearance, professionalism, and retailer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with internal and external customers
• Maintain a smartphone with data plan capable of operating delivery software
• Broad knowledge of company objectives
• Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
• Ability to read and understand merchandise pricing and invoicing
• Excellent computer skills in all applicable programs
• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 60 months
• Driving record free of significant violations and meeting company policies and standards
