About The Position

The Delivery & Install Technician loads, transports, delivers, and installs equipment at customer sites for scheduled work and emergency events. The role involves providing professional and respectful customer service, resolving on-site challenges, and communicating job notes and progress updates with the team using company-provided technology. Technicians maintain clean equipment and organized vehicles and follow professional uniform standards. Work includes driving locally or on multi-hour trips, sometimes alone and sometimes with a teammate, and may involve long drives or overnight stays. When not traveling, technicians work in the warehouse unboxing, testing, preparing, and cleaning equipment. Customer locations range from retail stores to construction projects and manufacturing plants; installations may take from a few minutes to a full day. The work is indoors and outdoors and may involve extreme heat or cold, lifting, pushing, or pulling 25+ pounds, and working on ladders. The position has a regular schedule and requires availability for rotating on-call shifts, including emergency requests at night, on weekends, and on holidays. Overtime opportunities increase during peak summer and winter seasons, and the team may respond to emergencies such as wildfires, hurricanes, heat waves, and winter storms. The job is full-time and hourly, with a listed pay range of $17.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience. Axis offers an annual $10,000 allocation in profit units through its Team Ownership Program, incentive programs, shared monthly bonuses, and career advancement opportunities. Full-time employees receive company-paid medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance premiums; dependent or family coverage premiums are capped. Employees start with two weeks of paid time off annually, increasing with tenure, may participate in the 401(k) plan from day one with a company match of up to 5% of contributions, and receive $50,000 in company-paid life insurance.
