About The Position

The Delivery Helper loads materials, locates jobsites, assists with backing procedures, prepares and restores jobsites, prepares the truck for the following day, and maintains the truck and equipment. The role supports safe, accurate delivery of building materials to customer locations and works primarily outdoors at jobsites.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
Ability to safely load, unload, and handle building materials.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
0–1 years of experience in delivery, warehouse, construction, or a related field.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, building materials, delivery, warehouse, or a related industry.
Familiarity with material handling and jobsite safety practices.

Responsibilities

Comply with company, state, and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT requirements, to support the safety of all personnel.
Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
Safely unload products and deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
Secure mud, equipment, metal, pallets, and other materials on the truck.
Navigate routes to jobsites.
Assist with maintaining trucks and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
Help prepare trucks and materials for the following day's deliveries.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
