About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers Domino’s orders by car to customers within a designated delivery area and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes general store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; may use a calculator.
• Ability to make correct monetary change and take and process orders using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
• Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying items, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, climbing stairs, and driving.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include varying or adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Adequate hearing and vision for telephone and store tasks, including depth perception and far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area; make multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment and prepare products.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate delivery routes and sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Unload and store bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
