About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated delivery area and support general store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule, on-the-job orientation and training, and potential opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership. Delivery Experts use an insured vehicle and may make several deliveries per shift, bringing orders to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Team members also perform store duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and facilities. The work involves customer and coworker communication, accurate order entry and payment handling, and navigating to delivery addresses, including multi-story buildings and other sites. Physical duties include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies and orders, pushing or pulling trays, bending, reaching, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders. Work may involve adverse weather, varied indoor temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers by telephone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and climbing as described in the posting.
Ability to deliver while exposed to varying weather, in-store temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near, mid-range, far, and night vision; depth perception; and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and handle customer and coworker communications.
Navigate delivery routes, addresses, adverse terrain, and multi-story buildings.
