About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas and other products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. This role also performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

The position requires customer-service and communication skills, accurate order entry and cash handling, basic arithmetic, and the ability to navigate to customer addresses. Work includes standing, walking, occasional sitting, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, and navigating stairs. Team members may encounter hot and cold work areas, food-related fumes and dust, sharp edges, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the telephone.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have the motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, and make judgments and decisions.
• Be able to perform the stated physical activities, including lifting cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carrying products, and navigating stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area and bring them to the customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Navigate to addresses within the delivery area and safely traverse delivery sites, including multi-story buildings.
