About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza and other products by car to customers within a designated delivery area, including bringing orders to customers’ doors. The role also involves delivering flyers and door hangers and performing general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Operate store equipment and prepare products.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage shelves.
• Navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
