About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, greeting and building relationships with customers, handling cash, preparing food, and helping keep the store clean and stocked. Delivery Experts use store-issued equipment and may distribute leaflets and door hangers. The position offers training and support, flexible hours, and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members, in person and over the phone.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks; and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, stock shelves up to 72 inches high, and perform repeated reaching, bending, and pushing tasks.
Ability to work around hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, and changing temperatures.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image to customers and drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
Know the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
Take orders over the phone and in person; greet customers within 10 seconds and build customer relationships.
Handle cash, cash drops, and reconciliation, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Assist with keeping the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use, return, and properly store Domino’s-issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and move product deliveries, including lifting and stocking supplies.
Perform other store tasks such as removing trash, changing prices on signs, washing walls, and basic maintenance as needed.
