About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, keeping the store clean and stocked, and completing customer-service and cash-handling tasks. The position offers training and support, flexible hours, tips and mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone, and near, mid-range, and distant vision needed for in-store and delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to use a hand truck and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds; lift and stack cases onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to reach continuously and occasionally bend forward, navigate stairs, or climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously, obey traffic laws, and know and navigate the store’s delivery area using area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person; greet customers within 10 seconds and communicate with customers and team members to process orders.
Handle cash, make change, complete cash drops and reconciliation, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly display, return, and store Domino’s-issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and stock product deliveries, which may include lifting and moving supplies and ingredients.
Perform other outside tasks, such as removing trash, and occasional basic maintenance tasks.
