About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas, sides, and other menu items while also helping with in-store operations. The role includes providing friendly customer service, taking and processing orders, handling cash, preparing food, and keeping the store clean and stocked. Delivery Experts are expected to drive safely and courteously, know the delivery area, and contribute positively to the team.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
• Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
• Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
• Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
• Have the motor coordination and vision needed for precise in-store tasks and driving.
• Be able to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
• Be able to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
• Be able to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with cases up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and perform the physical tasks described for stocking, cleaning, and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers.
• Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
• Drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
• Know the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
• Take orders by phone and in person, and greet customers within 10 seconds.
• Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile cash, and report tips accurately.
• Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
• Help keep the store clean and stocked.
• Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
• Use and properly return and store company-issued equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
• Unload and move product deliveries, including stocking supplies and ingredients.
