About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers while also helping with in-store operations. The role involves providing positive, courteous customer service; taking and processing orders; handling cash and tips; preparing food; and helping keep the store clean and stocked. Delivery Experts work on the road and alongside the store team, with opportunities for training and career progression. The position requires safe driving and use of a clean, reliable vehicle, and involves working in variable weather and store conditions, handling supplies, and performing tasks that require standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
Demonstrate an exceptional and positive attitude.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
Have the motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Be able to talk and hear on the telephone and have the near, mid-range, and distant vision needed for in-store and delivery tasks.
Be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Be able to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Be able to handle deliveries and supplies, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform the described lifting, carrying, pushing, bending, and reaching tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and provide courteous service to customers.
Drive safely, obey traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area.
Read area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and build customer relationships.
Handle cash, complete cash drops and reconciliation, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Help keep the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use assigned Domino’s equipment appropriately and return and store it at the end of each scheduled shift.
Unload and move supplies, stock shelves, and assist with basic maintenance and other outside tasks as needed.
