About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers while providing friendly service and representing the store positively. The role combines driving with in-store work, including taking and processing orders, preparing food, and helping keep the store clean and stocked. Delivery Experts are expected to drive safely, know the delivery area, handle cash accurately, and contribute to a positive team environment. The position offers training and opportunities for career progression.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record and a clean, reliable, safe vehicle.
Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and team members by phone and in person.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Ability to use issued Domino’s equipment and display, return, and store it properly.
Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; near- and mid-range vision for in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse outdoor weather and in store conditions that include temperature changes, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Ability to unload and move deliveries, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds and stacking cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder and to push tray dollies; frequent reaching and occasional bending are required.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers.
Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
Drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws; know the delivery area and read area maps.
Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and communicate with customers and team members to process orders.
Handle cash, make cash drops, reconcile amounts, and report tips accurately.
Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
Assist with keeping the store clean and stocked.
Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
Use and properly store Domino’s equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
Unload and stock product deliveries, and assist with other store tasks and basic maintenance as needed.
