Requirements

Proven experience in delivery operations, logistics, or a similar customer-facing operational role.
Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple stops and prioritize deliveries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Proficiency with delivery management software and GPS navigation systems.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and load packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
Complete daily deliveries to multiple locations while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Communicate professionally with customers about delivery schedules, special instructions, and delivery-related concerns.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
Use delivery management systems and GPS technology to track shipments and navigate routes.
Handle packages carefully to ensure items arrive in excellent condition and meet customer expectations.
Resolve delivery challenges and exceptions in real time, including rerouting and customer communication.
Maintain organized records of deliveries, signatures, and customer feedback.
Follow safety protocols and traffic regulations while operating company vehicles.
Collaborate with the logistics team to address operational issues and improve delivery processes.
