About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely. The role also supports in-store operations by taking orders, serving customers, preparing food, restocking supplies, and helping keep the store clean. Delivery Experts use store-specific equipment and may deliver leaflets and door hangers. The position involves customer interaction, cash handling, driving, and a range of physical tasks in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
• Have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
• Have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
• Have an exceptional and positive attitude.
• Accurately and quickly add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and make correct monetary change.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and comprehend written instructions.
• Be able to communicate verbally with customers and team members in person and by phone.
• Be able to talk and hear on the telephone.
• Have near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
• Be able to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Be able to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
• Be able to lift and carry deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks described, including reaching, bending, and moving trays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
• Project a positive image and build relationships with customers.
• Drive safely and courteously, obey traffic laws, and know the store’s delivery area.
• Read area maps.
• Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers promptly, and process orders.
• Handle cash, complete cash drops and reconciliation, and report tips accurately.
• Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
• Help keep the store clean and stocked.
• Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
• Use, return, and properly store Domino’s equipment issued for the role.
