About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers customer orders by car within a designated delivery area and to customers’ doors. The role also performs general store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Team members receive on-the-job orientation and training. The position involves working with customers and co-workers, processing orders in person and by phone, and using computers or touch screens. Delivery Experts may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The job offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement within Domino’s.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, including by telephone.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing stairs or ladders.
Ability to drive and deliver in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions; far and night vision for driving and ability to talk and hear on the telephone.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within the designated delivery area and to customers’ doors; make multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use maps and navigational skills to locate addresses and reach delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and other challenging terrain.
Carry out store and delivery tasks while following quality-control standards and communicating with customers and co-workers.
