About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers while representing the store positively and driving safely and courteously. The role also supports in-store operations by taking and processing orders, preparing food, keeping the store clean and stocked, and distributing promotional materials. Team members may work on the road and in the store, and are expected to provide friendly customer service and handle cash accurately.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and provide proof of liability insurance.
• Must have a clean, unrestricted driving record.
• Must have a clean, reliable, and safe vehicle.
• Must have an exceptional and positive attitude.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and team members.
• Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
• Ability to talk and hear on the telephone.
• Near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks and mid-range and distant vision for delivery tasks.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, and drive for long periods during scheduled work.
• Ability to perform job tasks involving lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, reaching, bending, and occasional stair or ladder use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizza, sides, and other menu items to customers.
• Project a positive image to customers and drive safely and courteously while obeying traffic laws.
• Learn the store’s delivery area and read area maps.
• Take orders by phone and in person, greet customers within 10 seconds, and build customer relationships.
• Handle cash, complete cash drops and reconciliation, and report tips accurately.
• Help make pizzas, prepare dough, and prepare or restock toppings.
• Help keep the store clean and stocked.
• Deliver leaflets and door hangers as required.
• Use and properly return and store Domino’s equipment, including car toppers, hot bags, and jackets.
• Unload bulk product deliveries and move, lift, and store supplies as needed.
