About The Position

The Delivery Expert delivers Domino’s products to customers within a designated delivery area and performs general store-team duties. The role includes operating equipment; stocking ingredients and supplies; preparing products; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery Experts may also deliver flyers and door hangers. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate the designated delivery area and adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and driving. The role may involve handling deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and carrying products during deliveries.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area, including carrying products to the customer’s door.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders, and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery areas, including adverse terrain, private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs.
Unload and move product deliveries using a hand truck, and stock supplies on shelves.
