About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring a Delivery Expert to deliver orders within a designated area and contribute to store operations. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including potential progression into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery duties, team members operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, receive and process orders, take inventory, complete paperwork, and clean equipment and the facility. The role requires communication with customers and co-workers, accurate order entry and money handling, and the ability to navigate to delivery addresses, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
- Operate store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Make correct monetary change.
