About The Position

It also requires frequent reaching and hand use, bending, and occasional crouching or squatting. Working conditions may include changing or adverse weather, temperature variation, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery duties involve driving, walking, carrying products, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Be able to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Be able to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to customer addresses, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
