About The Position

Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) is seeking a Delivery Driver for the North Region Feed Division in Trenton, Utah. The driver delivers livestock feed from mills in Trenton and Lewiston, Utah, to farms and ranches throughout Northern Utah and Southeastern Idaho, operating ten-wheel and tractor-trailer delivery trucks. This is a local driving job, and the driver returns home at the end of each workday. The driver maintains positive communication with customers, listens to issues or potential problems, and reports customer comments to the Transportation Manager. The driver represents IFA positively and professionally when interacting with customers and regulatory personnel.

Requirements

Current Class A CDL and medical card.
Clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of driving experience.
Ability to drive the assigned vehicle.
Knowledge of the delivery area and ability to read maps.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to follow directions.
Honest, dependable, and hardworking.
Ability to meet the physical demands of commercial truck driving, including lifting, hooking and unhooking trailers, and climbing ladders to access trailer tops and farm storage tanks.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections and maintain the truck log according to state and federal regulations.
Secure loads properly and comply with DOT and highway regulations.
Follow IFA vehicle safety policies.
Load and unload products in compliance with IFA standard operating procedures.
Operate several types of equipment as a professional truck driver.
Communicate and work well with co-workers and treat them with respect.
Communicate positively with customers, listen to issues or potential problems, and report customer comments to the Transportation Manager.
Represent IFA positively and professionally when interacting with customers and regulatory personnel.
