About The Position

MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers, delivering medical products directly to commercial and residential customers. The Delivery Driver operates a parcel van and/or straight truck to transport products to local customers. This role helps build positive customer relationships by ensuring deliveries are timely, accurate, and safe.

Requirements

• Meet federal and state requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Have a clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Valid Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) for a Class B license if required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products from the Medline facility into a parcel van and/or straight truck.
• Safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Medline facility and multiple customer destinations along a delivery route.
• Follow Medline safety regulations, including wearing required safety equipment and performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver products at customer facilities, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide in-person customer support by responding to questions and needs and providing appropriate delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch about route or schedule adjustments needed to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Inspect the vehicle to ensure it can be operated safely and has sufficient fuel.
