About The Position

Imperial Beverage is hiring a Delivery Driver to haul and deliver beer, wine, and spirits from its Kalamazoo warehouse to grocery stores, gas stations, bars, and restaurants around Michigan. Drivers work Tuesday through Friday mornings and return home nightly. The role requires a Class A CDL and involves physical work, safe driving, accurate deliveries, and customer interaction. Pay is listed at $27.00–$31.00, with compensation determined by experience. Imperial Beverage is a Michigan family-owned beverage distributor established in 1933. Requirements

Current Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL).
At least 19 years of age.
Reliable personal cell phone capable of receiving calls and text messages, with the number available internally.
Customer service skills.
Flexibility to work with varying shift end times.
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull an average of 50 pounds and move up to 165 pounds.
Ability to perform physical and driving tasks while exposed to varying weather conditions.
Good driving record.
Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

Perform a pre-trip inspection of the delivery truck.
Verify the accuracy and proper loading of product on the truck.
Drive the truck to assigned grocery stores, gas stations, bars, and restaurants.
Accurately unload product and deliver cases and kegs to specified areas.
Collect payments for product.
Resolve and report customer issues and requests.
Safely operate the delivery vehicle according to DOT rules and regulations.
Return to the warehouse after completing deliveries.
Verify returns, empty containers, and payments collected.
