About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone and in person. The position requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication skills, and good motor coordination for precise movements. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. The role also includes delivering products by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
