About The Position
The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products to customers within a designated delivery area, traveling by car from the store to customer locations. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
- Must be able to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers and comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
- Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including carrying products, walking, and climbing stairs; delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
- Must be able to work under stress, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, and meet quality-control standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
