About The Position
The Delivery Driver upholds Domino's standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance while delivering products and providing customer service. The role also involves collecting payments, promoting products and specials, and receiving cross-training in store operations, including food preparation, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and packaging orders.
Requirements
- Speak and write clearly and accurately.
- Demonstrate comprehension of a computer-based order entry system.
- Follow applicable driving laws and company rules and regulations.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle remains mechanically and physically sound, properly registered, and insured.
Responsibilities
- Collect cash and credit card payments.
- Promote pizza products and specials.
- Receive cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
- Check products for accuracy against quality standards.
- Respond promptly to store phones and assist carryout customers.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers in person and over the phone.
- Follow all applicable state and federal vehicle and driving laws, rules, and regulations.
- Follow Domino's Pizza, LLC and Tylaur, Inc. rules and regulations.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is mechanically and physically sound, properly registered, and insured at all times.
- Uphold Domino's standards for grooming, uniform, and appearance.
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
