About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and also helps with in-store tasks. Domino’s provides training for deliveries, making pizza, and other store duties. The role involves customer service, taking and processing orders, preparing products, and supporting the store team. The position may offer opportunities to advance from delivery work into management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Near- and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, as well as depth perception.
• Ability to lift and unload deliveries, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds and measuring up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk short distances for short durations.
• Ability to perform the described carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand-use tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by phone.
• Help with in-store work, including making pizza and other store tasks.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
• Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
