About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule, with opportunities to work around school, other activities, or a second job. The company notes that drivers may have opportunities to grow into management or other roles. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and communicate with customers and coworkers by phone, in person, and through a touchscreen computer system. The role requires safe driving, accurate order processing and money handling, and the ability to navigate delivery locations and terrain while carrying products.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to a working, insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the delivery area.
- Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Communicate clearly and with an upbeat speaking voice with customers and coworkers, including by phone and at the door.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Have motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
- Be clean-cut, personable, outgoing, energetic, dependable, reliable, punctual, prompt, responsible, quick to learn, and self-motivated.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Navigate to customer addresses, including through multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone to take and process orders.
- Use the touchscreen computer system to process orders.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
- Carry products while navigating delivery locations and terrain.
