About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to work in local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within the company, including advancement to management. Drivers deliver products by car to customers, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position involves working in a store with varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped areas, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Drivers may encounter adverse weather and must navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies and products, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to drive and deliver products in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within a designated delivery area and to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery routes and locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
