About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers designated supplies and prescriptions for Heritage Partners Pharmacy. The position has variable scheduled hours in five-hour shifts from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The minimum hiring wage starts at $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One to three years of experience working in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Verify the contents of inventory.
• Discuss delivery feedback with the Supervisor.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the Supervisor using a cellular telephone.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
