About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting customer orders safely and promptly. They assemble, load, transport, and deliver orders along assigned routes while following road-safety rules. Drivers are expected to be polite, dependable, thorough, and committed to providing customers with a positive experience. The position requires clean, reliable transportation with valid insurance and includes supporting restaurant operations when needed, such as helping in the kitchen, taking orders, and cleaning.

Requirements

Own reliable transportation that is kept clean and free of debris, with valid insurance.
Ability to read, understand, and follow a map.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and a motor vehicle record check.
Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
Ability to understand and work with numbers.
Ability to follow directions and achieve goals.
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow a schedule, be punctual, wear the proper uniform, and work swiftly with smart hustle.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers.
Two years of driving experience and history required for applicants age 18; one year required for applicants age 19 or older.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required.
Customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
Prior delivery-driver experience is not required; relevant job-specific training is provided.

Responsibilities

Arrive on time in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and a full tank of gas.
Keep a lit car-top sign on the vehicle during deliveries.
Assemble orders accurately, including extras such as dipping cups and sodas.
Enter assigned orders into the Pulse routing program within one minute of leaving the store.
Move promptly and safely between the store, vehicle, and customers’ doors.
Carry hot items in appropriate heat bags and cold items in a plastic T bag.
Load assigned orders into a clean, safe vehicle approved for delivery.
Drive safely and obey traffic laws while completing assigned deliveries.
Avoid additional stops unless specific permission is granted.
Collect customer payments and provide correct change; obtain signatures for credit and debit card transactions.
Track cash and receipts and balance them at the end of the shift; use the drop box to keep cash in the bank bag below $20 and never keep money in the vehicle.
Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
Keep the driver area, box hutch, and box-stocking areas clean, organized, and stocked.
At closing, check that the dining area is clean and stocked.
Keep heat bags clean and free of rips and tears.
Sweep regularly and mop as needed; mopping is required every night.
Wash dishes when no dishwasher is working.
Help cook and perform other kitchen work when necessary as backup.
Occasionally assist with phone, counter, or window orders.
Perform general store cleaning.
