About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including possible progression into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery work, team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory and related paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also distribute flyers and door hangers. The position involves working in varying temperatures and weather conditions, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical work includes standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching and hand use. Delivery work requires carrying pizzas and beverages, walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Driving requires far and night vision.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, reaching, and frequent use of hands.
Far and night vision for driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses within the delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry products and beverages during deliveries and travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
