About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers food by car to customers within a designated delivery area and brings orders to customers’ doors. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes delivery-related walking and climbing, as well as general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, and cleaning the equipment and facility.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Be able to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions, and communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders.
• Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to customer addresses and delivery sites, including private homes and multi-story buildings.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone, in-person, and window orders; and clean equipment and the facility.
• Perform other duties that may arise and duties covered by the Customer Service Representative description.
