About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver food and promotional materials within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and potential advancement from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers must use their own accessible, insured vehicle and meet the company’s driver’s-license and safe-driving standards. Team members may also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facilities.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Be able to understand and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers, in person and over the phone.
- Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality standards.
- Be able to meet the role’s physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to addresses using maps and safely handle delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
