About The Position

Fort Garry Industries (FGI) is Canada's most trusted truck and trailer parts, sales and service provider with over 100 years of service. The Delivery Driver at the Mississauga branch is responsible for delivering FGI products on designated routes, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. This role involves working with branch team members, handling product loading, checking documentation, reporting issues, picking up returns, and assisting in the warehouse between deliveries.

Requirements

• 5 years of total driving experience with no major driving infractions, combined with strong knowledge of Mississauga and surrounding areas
• Minimum 1-2 years of courier-related driving with strong customer service experience preferred, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift up to 75 – 100lbs, sit for long periods of time, drive an FGI vehicle on roadways and highways
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with transporting dangerous goods is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver FGI products to customers on designated routes while building strong relationships with customers
• Load materials into the vehicle and install straps, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
• Check all load–related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
• Report any missing or damaged product to management and follow up
• Pick up cores and any return merchandise and tag at the branch for vendor return
• Assist inside the warehouse between deliveries
• Other duties as assigned
