About The Position

Deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area, and deliver flyers and door hangers. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift. The role also performs general store-team duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing, and to navigate five or more flights of stairs when required.
• Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, and continuous use of hands.
• Far and night vision for driving.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car and carry them to customers’ doors.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
