Delivery Driver - Full Time
About The Position
The Aubuchon Company is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and store locations while providing exceptional service. The role represents the company through safe driving, accurate order handling, and professional customer interactions. Drivers may also support store operations by stocking merchandise and assisting customers when not making deliveries. Drivers operating commercial vehicles must comply with applicable laws and company policies, maintain accurate driving logs, manage fuel needs, and conduct additional vehicle safety inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old; CDL drivers must be at least 21.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
- CDL license required for commercial vehicle operation.
- Strong knowledge of local areas and navigation skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and time-management skills.
- Must be comfortable working in an animal-friendly environment; accommodations are available upon request.

- Prior delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products to customers and store locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide outstanding customer service, answer questions, and assist with unloading as needed.
- Communicate delivery status and estimated arrival times with customers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Load and secure merchandise to prevent damage.
- Support in-store operations by stocking merchandise and assisting customers when not making deliveries.
- For CDL drivers, operate commercial vehicles in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- For CDL drivers, maintain accurate driving logs and ensure legal compliance.
- For CDL drivers, manage fuel needs and conduct additional vehicle safety inspections.
