Parts Authority LLC. is seeking Delivery Drivers to join their team in Wakefield, MA. This is a newly created career opportunity where a company vehicle is provided. The Delivery Driver is a key point of contact with customers, responsible for fostering strong client relationships. Requirements

Current, valid driver’s license
Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over)
Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to handle prolonged sitting
Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances
Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation/route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture
Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team
Must meet all minimum requirements and qualifications

Nice To Haves

Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs
Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed
Previous delivery driving experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
Ensure orders are properly fulfilled, maintain customer satisfaction, and commit to work safety.
Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy of charges.
Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, and use navigation apps/alternative routes as needed.
Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle customer complaints and concerns.
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices, return forms, and reconcile debt and credit.
Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify the manager of any issues.
Assist in other store/warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
