About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers Domino’s products to customers by car and carries them to the customer’s door. Drivers may deliver flyers and door hangers and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes general store team-member duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination to make rapid, accurate movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to carry delivery products while walking and climbing, including potentially navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent use of hands and wrists.
Far and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks; ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Make correct monetary change and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
