About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a main or supplemental job. Drivers may have opportunities to advance into management and other roles. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Along with delivery duties, team members perform general store tasks such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Drivers deliver orders by car and to customers’ doors, and may distribute flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to perform precise, rapid motor movements and enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, reaching, and climbing stairs; deliveries may require climbing five or more flights of stairs.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and communicate with customers and co-workers by phone and in person.
- Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
