About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to staff its stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders while also performing general store team-member duties, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Ability to handle deliveries that may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds and to perform the listed physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including in adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; unload deliveries using a hand truck and stack cases on shelves.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily, and perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
