About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment and handles ingredients, product preparation, telephone orders, inventory, paperwork, and daily cleaning of equipment and the facility. The role delivers products by car to customers' doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. It requires accurate order processing and communication with customers and co-workers, as well as navigation throughout the designated delivery area and the ability to carry products across varied terrain and delivery sites.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate varied terrain and carry products at delivery sites.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area in storage areas, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Enter and process orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Deliver products by car to customers' doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
