About The Position
The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, and completes related paperwork. The role includes cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. The position requires navigating the designated delivery area and delivery sites, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other terrain, while carrying products. The stated starting rate is $20–$30 per hour. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and health insurance for full-time positions; bonus eligibility is offered for management roles. Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
