About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated area and provide customer service while working both on the road and in the store. Drivers receive full training and may help with in-store tasks such as making pizzas and processing orders. The role offers opportunities to develop within the company, including potential advancement to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs when making deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area; several deliveries may be made per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries and perform walking and climbing duties.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
