About The Position

The Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for driving a company delivery vehicle over established routes to deliver products to clients and customers. The role also provides customer service in the store and during deliveries. Duties include preparing paint orders by mixing or tinting products to customer specifications, identifying and matching paint colors, assisting customers with orders and questions, and processing cash and credit card transactions. The position is part-time and based in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The store is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; it is closed Sundays. A CDL is not required.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Punctual and dependable.
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Team player.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED).
Ability to perform standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, lifting, and carrying products to and from delivery and customer vehicles, areas within the store, and possible job delivery sites.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus.
Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products safely and efficiently to customers using a company vehicle.
Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure prompt deliveries.
Load and unload the delivery vehicle.
Prepare orders by mixing or tinting products to customers’ specifications.
Identify and match paint colors accurately.
Assist customers by phone and in the store with orders and questions.
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a cash drawer properly.
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure customers are satisfied with products and services.
Collaborate with coworkers and managers to maintain a smooth workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
