About The Position

The Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for driving a company delivery vehicle along established routes to deliver products to clients and customers. The role also provides customer service in the store and during deliveries. Duties include preparing paint orders by mixing or tinting products to customer specifications, identifying and matching paint colors, assisting customers, and processing cash and credit card transactions.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.

Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
High school diploma or comparable certification (GED).
Ability to perform standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, overhead reaching, gripping, squatting, lifting, and carrying as described for the role.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Prior experience in delivery, retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver products safely and efficiently using a company vehicle.
Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure prompt deliveries.
Load and unload the delivery vehicle.
Prepare orders by mixing or tinting products to customer specifications.
Accurately identify and match paint colors.
Assist customers by phone and in the store with orders and questions.
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a cash drawer properly.
Provide a high level of customer service and help ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with coworkers and managers to maintain a smooth workflow.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
