Delivery Driver FT - Field Operations
About The Position
SouthernCarlson is hiring a Delivery Driver to support customer service and daily warehouse operations. The role involves safely operating a box truck and delivering tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers. The driver provides friendly, professional service at each delivery location and helps with warehouse work such as picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading. The position is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and follows a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. Compensation is hourly and based on experience.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to regularly lift 50–75 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred; training is available.
- At least 1 year of delivery experience is preferred, especially in construction or industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck.
- Deliver tools, fasteners, and materials to jobsites, warehouses, and residential customers.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery location.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including picking, staging, receiving, stocking, and loading.
- Promptly report vehicle, delivery, or route issues.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
