About The Position
The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated delivery area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes in-store work, such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino’s provides training for deliveries and in-store tasks. The position offers opportunities for career growth within the company, including advancement from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership. The work involves driving and working in varying weather and store conditions, including temperature changes, hot surfaces, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking short distances, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
- Proof of car insurance.
- Safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
- Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds, with dimensions up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet.
- Ability to carry supplies, including pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds and trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
- Ability to push trays on a dolly requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
- Ability to perform the described driving, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand-use tasks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate to addresses within the delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
- Perform outside tasks, including removing trash.
- Assist in-store when not making deliveries.
