About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to deliver customer orders within a designated area and perform in-store team-member duties as needed. Drivers must use an insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s driving-history and vehicle-safety requirements. The position pays $16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may offer opportunities for advancement into customer service, management, corporate operations, or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
• Driving record must meet company standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
• Must have access to a vehicle that is insured, registered, and available for delivery; the driver must be listed on the vehicle’s insurance policy.
• Must have a safe driving record that meets company standards and use a vehicle that passes required periodic delivery-vehicle inspections.
• Must have customer-service and navigational skills, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including stairs and multi-story buildings, while carrying products.
• Must be able to comprehend and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, process orders, use a computer keyboard or touchscreen, and make correct change.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Help with food preparation and other inside tasks as needed.
• Operate store equipment; stock ingredients and supplies; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Handle cash and make correct monetary change.
• Unload and move product deliveries using a hand truck, and stock and carry supplies.
• Complete periodic inspections of vehicles used for business deliveries under store or franchisee supervision.
