About The Position
Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to make deliveries using their own vehicles. Drivers can listen to their own music while driving and earn wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement. The company is willing to train new hires. Part-time work and flexible schedules are available, and the store is currently seeking drivers able to work rush, late, or closing shifts. Full-time employees become eligible for health benefits after six months. Applicants must meet the stated age and driving-history requirements and satisfy the company’s motor vehicle and background compliance requirements. The posting also sets standards for driving records, including limits on moving violations and at-fault accidents and disqualifying serious violations. Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Have at least two years of driving history, subject to the detailed age-specific driving-history rules in the posting.
- Hold a valid driver’s license; the posting says drivers must have an officially stated license.
- Have a consistent work history.
- Successfully meet company compliance requirements relating to motor vehicle records (MVR), DOT, CSA, and/or criminal background checks.
- Be able to lift 20 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Meet the driving-record standards: no more than two driving-related violations in the two years before the MVR evaluation, no more than three in the preceding three years, and no more than one at-fault accident in the preceding three years.
- Have none of the listed disqualifying violations: leaving the scene of an accident or hit-and-run, reckless driving, drug- or alcohol-related driving violations, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, or eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
