About The Position

Prairie Pizza, a family-owned Domino’s franchise, is hiring a Delivery Driver at 1428 E. 4th St., Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28204. Drivers deliver hot, fresh pizza and provide a positive customer experience in the local area. The role also includes taking customer orders by phone, processing payments, maintaining store cleanliness, and helping the in-store team when not on the road. Compensation includes $8.00 per hour while in the store and $5.00 per hour while on the road, plus tips and mileage reimbursement. Drivers average $15.00–$20.00 per hour overall, with an advertised annual earning potential of $30,000–$40,000. Tip earnings are described as averaging approximately $3 per delivery. Scheduling is flexible. Eligible employees may receive health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k). The company also offers a 50% pizza discount and a referral bonus program. Applicants must be able to pass a standard background check.

Requirements

Valid U.S. driver’s license held for at least one year, excluding time holding a permit.
Clean driving record with no more than three violations in two years.
Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance.
Excellent sense of direction and knowledge of the local area.
Reliability and ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to pass a standard background check.

Responsibilities

Safely and quickly deliver orders to customers in the local area.
Answer phones and accurately take customer orders.
Process payments and handle transactions accurately.
Provide friendly customer service with a positive attitude.
Help maintain store cleanliness, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping.
